LG Optimus One P500 at Rs. 13,500

LG Optimus One in Smartphone category. LG Optimus One P500 is an Android phone, version 2.2 (Froyo). LG Optimus One has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320×480 pixels of resolution and comes with a 3.2-MP camera. The handset has a 512MB of RAM and a 600MHz processor.

Google’s Android operating system, version 2.2 or “Froyo” offers built-in wireless tethering, the ability to store third-party apps on your microSD card, and general performance improvements.
Other features of the handset include GPRS, EDGE, 2 GB memory, threaded messages and 40 pre-loaded applications.

Currently, LG Optimus One is the only Android phone at a price range of Rs. 13,500. IT is one of the best budget Android smartphone available in the market.
LG Electronics India, Moon B Shin, managing director, said, “We will increase the production capacity from 8 million to 15 million by next year at the Pune plant. We also have an ambitious target of 80 per cent revenue growth in mobile business by 2011.”
