Kim Kardashian is recently posed in a coffin as part of Keep A Child Alive’s Digital Death Campaign for World AIDS Day, and she told the picture freaked out the Kardashian clan. “It was a little scary to get into a coffin and I took some pictures and they didn’t know I was doing it and I sent it to them from my phone — to the whole family — and they were like, ‘What is going on!’” Kim recounted to on Tuesday at a signing (alongside sisters Khloe and Kourtney) of “Kardashian Konfidential.”
According to Khloe, the image disturbed the family, who didn’t understand the context at the time. “People probably assume that I’m this wild and crazy party girl and I’m out drinking every night and dancing on tables and just shopping all day and that was so not me,” she added.
Kim wasn’t the only star to pose for the campaign, which will keep celebrities like Alicia Keys, Serena Williams and Ryan Seacrest from Tweeting for 24 hours, or until $1 million is raised for World AIDS Day.In related Kim news, she recently told Matt Lauer — for his “People of the Year Special” on NBC — that although she’s known for her good looks, she doesn’t get hit on as often as one might imagine.
“I think guys might be intimidated a little bit,” Kim told Matt.
In the interview with Matt, which aired on Thanksgiving, Kim also opened up about how she got over the embarrassment she felt when her sex tape with Ray J was leaked online several years ago.
“There’s a few ways you can handle it. You can either continue and either feel sorry for yourself or make excuses for yourself. There’s no excuses. Did something. Not proud of it. Move on,” she said. “And that’s why I wanted to do the reality show [‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’] so badly because I felt like there’s so many misconceptions about me.
“I was like, ‘Never send me anything like that again! That’s disgusting,’” Khloe recounted. “She’s like, ‘It was for charity!’”
