Full Video-Sathya Sai Baba’s Buried Maha Samadhi Rites
Last rites for ‘Maha Samadhi’ of Sathya Sai Baba were over today at Kulwant Hall, Puttaparthi. ‘Maha Samadhi’ rituals were completed in presence of only limited family members and Sai central Trust members. There was no entry for any other devotees at the Sai Kulwant Hall in Prashanthi Nilayam premises. For the devotees and public, LCD screens were being installed outside the Prashanti Nilayam to see the Maha Samadhi rituals.
Last rites of Sathya Sai Baba were being performed with full state honors. When the clock strikes sharp 9 in the morning, the ‘Maha Samadhi’ rituals was start and finished at about 10:30 am.
Nine different stones which lead nine planets, nine different foodgrains and water of nine different rivers from all over the nation, 'Kuruskshetra' matti (soil), salt, silver, gold and navaratnas were being used during the last Maha Samadhi rites of Sathya Sai Baba. It will start with vedic chants (Mantra) on Wednesday morning and likely to be completed in two to three hours.
