As Microsoft and Autodesk Autodesk signed an agreement with the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to provide free software to over 10,000 engineering and architectural institutes in the country. It will also expand our business in India in future.& rdquo; AICTE chairman S.S. Mantha said the softwares will be readily available to institutes from Friday onwards but students can access them individually within two months.

'Empowerment is needed at school level. We are empowering few at the high end but if we give these technologies to the school children, it will be more beneficial,' Sibal said after signing of the Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs).
