Daughter of Mathew and Tina Knowles is Beyonce Giselle Knowles. She was born in Sept. 4, 1981 and often known simply as Beyonce. She was born and brought up in Houston, Texas. With strong support from her parents, Beyonce began performing in art school and was first exposed to singing & dancing competition as a child, since she was 7 years old. She attended the High School for performing & Visual Art in Houston, Texas.

An act called GirlTyme was performed by Beyonce (First Time) with Latavia Roberson in 1990, but unfortunately could not get much fame. She received fame in late 1990’s as a lead singer of R & B girl group ‘Destiny Child’ (one of the beat selling girl group of all time hits), it was successfully performed in clubs in Houston areas. As the wind of success was blowing she released her first debut solo album ‘Dangerously In Love’ in 2003. This debut solo album proved to be number one hit, keeping back ‘Crazy in Love’ & ‘Baby Boy’. ‘Dangerously in Love’ album was loved worldwide, in US & UK eventually it was sold off 4 million & 8 million.
Than, in Sept, 2006 her second solo debut album B’Day was releases. This solo album was also a massive worldwide hit. It ranked number 1 on Billboard 200, which also include hits like “Irreplaceable” and “Beautiful Liar”.
Than after Beyonce’s highly successful 2007 concert tour, her third debut solo album was released. Album named ‘I Am..Sasha Fierce’ which was released in 2008. It also includes anthemic “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)”.
About her Acting Career:
Besides singing she was also interested in acting.
- She made her debut in the musical film Carmen: A Hip Hopera in 2001.
- In 2002 as Foxxy Cleoptra with Milke Myrs in Austin Powers in Gold member.
- A third film appearance was opposite Cuba Guiding, Jr. in The Fighting Temptation, 2003.
- Than in 2004, she and her mother introduced their family’s fashion line – House Of Dereon.
- In the year 2006, two films starring Beyonce was released. The first film was ‘The Pink Panther’ and the second film was ‘Dream Girls’.
